Estonia has pulled off an impressive one-two in the 2007
Wife Carrying World Championships in Sonkajärvi in Finland, notching up a four-year unbeaten record in the process. Estonian couples came first and second in the event, the winners rewarded with the wife's weight in beer for their efforts.
Given this year's championships attracted more than 50 couples from countries as far afield as Australia, Japan and South Africa, many of which have their own national associations, you have to wonder how long it will be before it becomes an Olympic sport.

Yea for ESTONIA!!
This is, like, one of my favorite sports ever. It would be more fun to watch, though, if everyone were naked.
And they were all men?
Yeah that too.
